Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda

Home of the incredible balancing Pagoda of Kyaikhtiyo, This small pagoda is build atop an amorous giled boulder which stands on the extreme edge of the cliff. Legend suggests that the boulder maintains its balance due to a precisely placed Buddha hair within the pagoda.

Located in the small town Kyaikhto, Mon State. The pagoda is about 18 feet high and perch on a huge boulder which stands on the extreme edge of the cliff. This is also the place for hikers to climb uphill.

Mawlamyaing (Moulmein)

The capital of Mon State and accessible by rail, road and air. This attractive town is the third largest city in Myanmar with a ridge of hills on one side and the sea. Mawlamyine is lush and green with beautiful landscape and many sites to see in and around it.
